Emus Beach Resort is a new Backpacker Resort opening on 18 October 2008 on the Capricorn Coast in Central Qld.
As Emus is directly across the road from one of the beautiful beaches on the Coast , which overlooks Great Keppel Island, it has continued with the beach resort theme.
Emus Beach Resort offers a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful surrounding. Along with their large rooms with King Single beds, private bathrooms and balconies overlooking the heated pool, they offer a large communal kitchen and entertainment facilities downstairs from their cheaper dorm rooms.

All prices included linen and full use of resort facilities.
Transfers from Rockhampton Bus and Train Station as well as Rockhampton Airport are available. Transfer prices will depend on the number of nights or accommodation package booked. Maximum cost will be $10 per person for a return trip.
These facilities include:
3 x 2 storey buildings with 4 motel style rooms in each. Each room has 4 x king single ensemble beds (which can convert to 2 x king double beds), a private bathroom and private balcony overlooking the heated pool and bar area.
Renovated Beach House with 11 dorm beds (No Bunk Beds) within 5 rooms upstairs. Downstairs is a large communal kitchen, dining room, TV room and internet café.
There is also a large deck overlooking the pool and bar area. The toilet block that services the dorm guests is located next to the beach house, along with a guest laundry room.
The 4th 2 storey building is an on site managers residence up stairs and a reception, shop and travel desk down stairs.
Emus will hold a residential liquor license for our in house bar, which will overlook our solar heated pool. We also have a large outdoor covered entertainment area for guests use.
From our reception and travel desk, we will be offering our guests a variety of activities and services. These include:
